A brief guide to hot springs, dining, and travel directions.
Founded in 1908, this historic inn faces the Kikuchi River, where the tranquil sound of flowing water can be heard. It consists of two buildings: Suikyo-an, featuring guest rooms with private open-air baths, and Rokumon-tei, offering traditional Japanese-style rooms. At Suikyo-an, guests can luxuriate in the natural hot spring water flowing freely 24 hours a day. A spacious lounge with a bar adjoins the front desk. A footbath in the courtyard, accessible via the corridor leading to Suikyo-an, is illuminated at dusk.
