This inn was once a private lodging where the proprietress of a former Gion tea house would personally guide and accommodate only select guests. Located in the historically significant Kyoto Preservation District, following Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka slopes,it stands near Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kodaiji Temple, the Yasaka Tower… and other profoundly meaningful sites.
It is a historic sukiya-style building from the early Showa period, embodying Kyoto’s elegance and sophistication,
including a tea room where our predecessors once enjoyed moments of tea.

JR: From Kyoto Station, take Bus Route 100 or Route 206 to the “Kiyomizu-michi” bus stop (approx. 20 min).
