-Facilities-
Our inn is a traditional Kyoto machiya townhouse built in 1909 (Meiji 42).
The main house and storehouse are designated as National Registered Tangible Cultural Properties.
We offer five charming rooms: rooms featuring old-fashioned wavy glass and decorative woodwork, a room modeled after Katsura Imperial Villa, and rooms renovated from the storehouse and tea room. Two gardens grace the grounds, visible from every guest room.
All rooms are pure Japanese-style with Kyoto tatami mats. Seasonal scrolls and floral arrangements adorn the rooms and tokonoma alcoves, allowing guests to relax while experiencing Kyoto’s traditional culture.
-Dining-
Start your day with a wholesome, Kyoto-style breakfast.
We serve a hearty morning meal featuring freshly cooked rice, miso soup, grilled fish, dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet),
and obanzai (traditional Kyoto-style side dishes) made with seasonal ingredients and Kyoto vegetables.
Prepared with care by the proprietress and assistant proprietress. ※Served warm and freshly made to your room or the breakfast venue.
-Access-
One stop from Kyoto Station, a 3-minute walk from the subway’s “Gojo Station”.
