A brief guide to hot springs, dining, and travel directions.
We offer 20 traditional Japanese-style rooms for a relaxing stay in a quintessentially Japanese atmosphere. Ureshino Onsen is known as one of Japan’s “Three Great Hot Springs for Beautiful Skin.” The silky-smooth water is a sodium bicarbonate spring that helps smooth rough skin and restore natural moisture and radiance. We take pride in our bath kettles crafted from pottery specially commissioned from an Arita-yaki kiln—designs unique to Ureshino— allowing you to experience the changing seasons. We also offer a total of four types of large public baths, including separate facilities for men and women. A selection of yukata is available for women, and children’s sizes are also provided.

We serve creative dishes that change with the seasons. Our signature kaiseki cuisine showcases local ingredients from Ureshino and Saga, including fresh vegetables and fish. We also offer a course featuring Saga Beef, a premium brand raised on fertile land. For breakfast, enjoy melt-in-your-mouth yudofu (tofu in hot spring water). The mild alkaline hot spring water softens the tofu to a silky texture— a local specialty unique to Ureshino Onsen.
